Our Journey
The birth of our first son, Mason, marked a meaningful turning point in our journey and became part of the inspiration behind Highland Montessori. Watching him grow and thrive in a thoughtfully prepared Montessori environment gave us an even deeper appreciation for how meaningful the early years are in shaping a child’s confidence, independence, curiosity, and love of learning.
A few years later, when our younger son, Lightning, joined the program, it was especially heartwarming to watch the brothers learn and grow together. Seeing Mason proudly share his experiences and discoveries with his younger brother made our Montessori journey even more meaningful.
Experiencing these precious early years with our own children strengthened our belief that every child deserves an environment where they feel loved, respected, supported, and inspired to discover the world around them. This belief remains at the heart of Highland Montessori today.
Ms. Julie
Ms. Julie is a highly qualified Montessori teacher with certifications in both Early Childhood Education (ECE) and Montessori for the 0-3 and 3-5 age groups. With nearly 20 years of experience working with young children, Ms. Julie is dedicated to helping each child reach their full potential. Her passion for early childhood education and her ability to inspire and engage children make her an invaluable asset to our team. Ms. Julie’s enjoyment of working with children is evident in her supportive and encouraging approach.
Ms. Sara
Ms. Sara is a caring and dedicated educator who brings patience, warmth, and a genuine love for children to our Montessori community. She has gained valuable hands-on experience through working in different childcare settings and supporting families with young children.
As she continues to build her knowledge and professional training in Early Childhood Education, Ms. Sara brings enthusiasm, responsibility, and a strong willingness to learn and grow. Her gentle approach and positive connection with children have made her a valued member of our team.
Ms. Mehri
With 30 years of experience as a nurse and a decade as an early childhood educator, Ms. Mehri brings a wealth of knowledge and creativity to our team. Her extensive background in healthcare and education allows her to approach each child’s needs with a unique perspective. Ms. Mehri is known for her innovative ideas and creative activities that inspire and captivate our young learners. Her love for teaching shines through in everything she does, making her a cherished member of our team.
Ms. Amy
Ms. Amy brings a wealth of experience from her years teaching in Korea, along with extensive time spent in various Montessori centres. She is well known for her patience, warmth, and nurturing nature, which have made her a beloved figure among the children. Her enthusiasm for the Montessori approach and her sincere dedication to each child's well-being play a vital role in fostering the positive and supportive environment at Highland Montessori.
Ms. Sukja
Ms. Sukja brings over 20 years of experience in early childhood education, including more than 10 years in leadership and supervisory roles. With a university background in Music and over a decade of experience as a professional music teacher, she brings creativity, music, movement, and joy into the children’s daily experiences.
Her warmth, experience, and leadership are a wonderful addition to our Highland Montessori community.
